School Council votes for a new garden

In a recent School Council meeting, the boys discussed ways in which they could make their school better.  They gathered ideas from their classmates and teachers and put together a list.  A vote was taken on the list and it was decided that a new school garden would be created where the boys could grow their own food and learn about how to take care of plants.

They also explored the different tools that would be needed and made a shopping list.  A suitable outdoors area was measured up and a map of the playground was made showing where the garden could be located.

The first step in making the new garden a reality was an exciting trip to the local B & Q store to carefully select and purchase new seeds.  We are looking forward to seeing how their garden grows!
