Seb’s parents recently wrote to us with the following feedback:
Ms Adams has gone out of her way to connect with Seb and engage him in learning via his passion points…
COVID has been a difficult time for schools and I’m mindful that shifting to an online delivery model for an organisation like Falcons Pre-Prep is not an easy challenge. As such, I often feel that parents are quick to jump on the shortcomings of this new world so I wanted to redress the balance with some much needed praise.
I happened to overhear Seb in a one-to-one conversation with Ms Adams earlier this week and honestly, it was one of my highlights of lockdown. Ms Adams has gone out of her way to connect with Seb and engage him in learning via his passion points and their conversation was really inspiring not only for Seb but for me also. In the short time that I was within earshot, I heard about the Wright Brothers, Julius Caesar and Cleopatra and the British Army Special Operations Executive and I’m sure they then went on to other matters! Added to this Ms Adams has then taken the time to follow up with online resources for Seb to delve further into these topics.
Hearing the two of them trade stories with such gusto and animation was a really lovely moment and I know that this isn’t a one off. Her investment in Seb’s interests generate a wealth of research and conversations between the three of us at home which is something we are all very much enjoying. We now have a post lockdown list of educational trips that will take us well into the next decade!
I firmly believe that an organisation’s success is down to its people- on that basis, Falcons Pre-Prep will thrive as will the boys.
Please pass on my thanks and gratitude.
