Our pupils take part in at least two half hour PE lessons a week. The aims and objectives of the P.E. department is to promote the importance of health and fitness through participation in physical activity; to acquire knowledge, skills and understanding in a variety of activities suitable for the age, ability and experience of the children. Building core strength, fine and gross motor control and balance are key to this subject area.

In addition to this, we aim to help pupils develop moral, social and cultural awareness, as well as helping to promote key skills such as communication, working with others and problem solving. These skills will hopefully embed an attitude that will enable our students to enjoy the benefits of sport throughout their lives.
